It may seem odd to combine these two different phones, however having owned both, they're very similar to use. I bought the Pixel 6 and owned it for 18 months, during which time it gave no trouble at all and allowed me to take some surprisingly impressive photos. The battery life was disappointing, but that seems to go for all smartphones now. Switching to the Pixel 7 Pro in July 2023 (when the price dropped a bit) I noticed immediately that it was slightly larger, better made with a nice glass and metal rear, has curved edges of the screen and clearly better loudspeakers. To use it felt no different - no faster or slower. The main reason I bought it however was to get the 5x optical zoom, which I should put to good use. I can highly recommend any of the Pixel 6 andPixel 7 phone ranges depending on your needs and budget, the pure Google version of Android is a joy, and they're all fast and powerful. I've played with the text to speech and the magic eraser capabilities, which are nice but not that useful in day to day life. Plus Points
