Some people used to have "homepages" like this, before Facebook.
Established in 1994 when not many people were doing websites at all, and there was no social media, and no apps, and no smartphones. This website is personal, and not for profit, and doesn't earn any money for the creator.
At times in the early years, this website was a significant source of news and information about the Mini and the QE2, and led to me being contacted by newspapers, magazines, journalists, radio and TV. I met many interesting people all over the world as a result of this site, long before Facebook and other social media made it the norm.
It is dominated by my love of the Mini and other cars, and of the Great Transatlantic Ocean Liners particularly the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2), and her amazing predecessors and their rivals. You'll also find stuff about gadgets, Scotland, some jokes, some of my travels and a variety of other things too.
Keep an eye on my what's new page and please also take the time to contact me if you've stumbled across this site.

A bit more about the history of this site :-
Most people would have allowed their 1990s homepage to have died long ago, but I'm quite attached to it having put so much work into it back then (and a small amount ever since to keep it alive and parts of it relevant). My younger self would be annoyed at me if I delete it now, even if some of it is now a bit embarassing.
It has around 300 pages. The main older content is largely unchanged. Between 1994 and 1998 my site was at CompuServe (which was sort of the Facebook of the day I suppose) then from 1998 until late 1999 sometime my site was at Tripod before I moved it to my own domain name where its been for the past 17 years. It was converted to Weebly in 2015.
