Rob Lightbody, speaker and talks about the QE2

Rob Lightbody is available for speaking engagements on the subject of Cunard's Clyde-built Ocean Liners, specialising in the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2).

Rob originally got an interest in QE2 in the early 80s as a child, from his father's work on the ship's turbines.  In the 90s, at the dawn of the internet, Rob ran a very popular website devoted to the QE2 and in 2009 he launched www.TheQE2Story.com, a destination for QE2 fans the world over.  Rob's final trip on QE2 was in August 2008, 3 months before she retired, but in 2011 Rob travelled to Dubai and spent 3 days alone on the 'Sleeping Beauty' that was QE2 at that time, launching a DVD about this adventure.

I am happy to present at speaking events, with an illustrated talk through QE2's amazing history.  I can tailor the talk to the audience as required.
