QE2 in Sydney Harbour, February 16th & 17th 2006

The world's favourite classic ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) spent a few days in February 2006 parked right next to Sydney Opera House during her world cruise.
Sad person that I am, I used an excellent remote-control local webcam (Live Canon webcam at Sydney Harbour )to snap pictures of her during her stay.

I also found some stunning photos on Flickr and I have included direct links to these below.

Some awesome photos of the event on Flickr (Click to view)

Absolutely stunning photo.  I use this as my desktop wallpaper

Is the speedboat faster than QE2?

Fantastic study of these angles

Just Awesome

Even if you're not interested in the QE2, these are still stunning photos.

I think that all of the photos of the painters on the funnel are amazing, as they show the enormous scale of QE2, but the one in the middle is my favourite as it is superbly abstract and could win awards, in my view.

Have a rummage on Flickr yourself - search for QE2 in tags and you'll find loads of great pics.
