< I spent some time with Sgt. Karl Becker at Ocean Beach on patrol. I don't think I'd cut it as a lifeguard however, as I cant swim!

> I spent a day at Sea World which was in general very disappointing except for these fantastic dolphins!

< I also saw the Shamu family of killer whales doing their show which I think kids would love.

> The Universal City in Los Angeles is WELL worth a visit - I had a great day there.

< This might quite possibly be the nicest mall in the world...

< San Diego Zoo was absolutely superb, putting Sea World - San Diego's other living amusement park - to shame. This is a giant panda.

The Hippos were amazing - you can walk under the water and see them swimming and kissing and hugging etc! in their glass-walled enclosure.
