• July 10th 2010 - Just a note to say that the situation with QE2 in Dubai is unchanged.  The ship still sits where she was, with engines running, air-conditioning and safety systems live, and a crew on board. 
  Everything essential is done, however some work is now being put on hold until the ship's future is known.  For instance items which are only relevant if the ship is to take to sea again, are being held off until they know when/if this will happen.  However the ship is still intact, and her contents are still in place - the ship is still like she was left in November 2008.

• April 2010 - New images of QE2 in Dubai.  She was completely dark for a few nights, but now appears to be illuminated again.
   
• April 2010 - Amazing material from 1984/1985 revealed showing "the refit that never was" - a radical plan for QE2 including a weird new funnel, and big changes inside.
   
• March 16th - the first photos of QE2's interiors in Dubai emerge - proving that they are still intact after more than 470 days since the last passengers left.
   
• February - QM2 pays homage to QE2 in Dubai - with pictures & Video.
   
• New images of QE2 in Dubai, including her Christmas tree
