QE2's Bridge Cam

Travels with the Queen

QE2 was fitted with a webcam in April 2006 and until her retirement, I kept it as my browser homepage.  Each time I saw something interesting, I saved a copy of it for posterity.  I even did this from my mobile phone if I was bored while I was out and about.

The following image refreshes every time you refresh the page, and contains a vast collection of webcam images.

The QE2 was specifically built to fit through the Suez canal and passes through some lock sections with only 3 feet to spare on either side.

Stormy seas off Italy

QE2 passed through locks to head into her drydocking for her refit.

As she looked on arrival in her drydock and...

... as she looked a week later!  And then...

All spick and span as she leaves after her refit.

Heading out to the open seas, all shiny & new looking

Back at sea where she belongs - time to stretch her legs...

Parked in Southampton after her refit

Bergen

Sitting in the middle of the Geiranger Fjord.  Some more pics of her in roughly the same place:-

Sailing up Southampton Water in the wake of another vessel.

In her natural element - at speed on the Atlantic Ocean
